Set a call back

Book a call back for the time a business asked for, and work through your promises from the Call backs list.

How-toChecked 2026-10-10

You will have a promise to ring a business at the time they asked for, and a list that reminds you.

Book one

  1. On a call, press End call.
  2. Under How did it go, pick Call back. A day and a time appear.
  3. Set them to when the person actually asked, such as Thursday at 14:00. "After 2 on Thursday" beats "next week".
  4. Press Save and next.

Work your call backs

  1. In the console menu open Call backs. Each promise shows the list it came from, the time, and a flag if it is overdue.
  2. Press Start call backs to be fed the pile from the top, or Open to take one record.
  3. Make the call as normal: Make your first call in the Caller console. Log the outcome.

When you save the last one you land back on the Call backs list, not an empty console. The console header also warns when one is overdue, and switching lists does not cancel them.

Rules

  • A call back belongs to the caller who booked it. Nobody else is handed it.
  • It does not count against the five-attempt limit.
  • A manager sees every promise on the Promises page and can hand one to someone else if the caller is off. The time promised does not change. Sales execs do not see that page.

Call backs are not drawn on the Adapt Leads Schedule. Only your LinkedIn posts and CRM tasks are: see Tasks and the Schedule. More: Call backs.
