Approve and launch a campaign
The checklist, the approval a person must give, and what the launch confirmation says will go out.
Nothing sends without a person pressing Approve and then Launch. Approval covers the exact content: change anything and you must approve again.
The checklist
The Options tab ends with Before it can launch.
| # | Row | Needed to launch? |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Leads added | Yes, at least one |
| 2 | Step 1 written (or email 1 ready for each lead) | Yes |
| 3 | Sending mailbox chosen | Yes, connected and active |
| 4 | Mailboxes warmed up | No. It shows how many have warm-up on. |
| 5 | Sending domain set up | Checked by the spam check |
| 6 | Schedule set | Yes, at least one day |
| 7 | Changes saved | Yes |
| 8 | Test email sent to yourself | No, optional |
| 9 | Spam check passed | Yes, and current |
| 10 | This exact content approved | Yes, and current |
| 11 | Launch | Opens when the above are done |
If Launch is not ready, the button says why, for example "run the spam check and pass it".
What approval covers
Approval covers the emails, mailboxes, lead list, schedule and limits. Any change needs approving again. The server checks this on every email as it sends, so an old approval cannot let changed content out.
Test emails
- Send test sends one email to the address you type, from your sending mailbox, checked by the copy rules first. It never goes to a lead.
- Seed test (the ... menu, or Email accounts) sends step 1 to your own warm-up inboxes so you can see where it lands.
The launch confirmation
Click Launch. A summary lists who gets step 1 and how many, which mailboxes, the days, window and time zone, the daily limit, the gap, the follow-up days and whether they stop on reply. Anyone on your do-not-email list is skipped. Click Launch and start sending.
This sends real email
The first one or two emails go out straight away, even outside the window.
After launch
The campaign is Active. See Pause, resume or stop a campaign. Resuming a paused campaign needs a fresh spam check and a fresh approval.
