What Adapt never does on LinkedIn
The things Adapt will not do for you on LinkedIn, so you can trust what it does.
Adapt keeps a short list of things it does not do on LinkedIn. They are in the app and in the extension's own "What this reads" panel.
It never
- Sends a request or a message you did not start. Nothing goes out until you give a campaign people and steps and start a run yourself.
- Comments for you. It can draft a comment when you ask. You read it, change it and post it yourself.
- Sends a note you did not approve. Every invite note waits for your OK, one at a time.
- Solves a security check, or carries on after a LinkedIn warning. It stops and tells you.
- Touches LinkedIn from its own servers. Everything runs in your own Chrome, on your own connection.
- Stores your LinkedIn password.
- Runs outside your working hours, or above your limits, or above the ceilings of 12 invites a day and 80 in any seven days.
- Replies to someone for you. You reply on LinkedIn.
- Keeps going after a reply. A reply stops that person's steps.
What it does do
- It publishes a post you wrote and scheduled, through LinkedIn's own connection, and only when you connected LinkedIn posting. See How LinkedIn posts go out.
- It reads the pages you open and the conversations you open with the extension on. See Privacy, what the extension reads.
A wording to know about
One line in LinkedIn settings under Reviews and replies says Adapt never comments or posts for you. It is true of comments. Scheduled posts do go out on their own, as above.
