Create a LinkedIn campaign
Name a campaign, bring in people from a spreadsheet, pick a sequence and save it as a draft.
You will have a draft campaign, with its people and its steps, that sends nothing until you run it.
Before you start
For a spreadsheet you need a CSV file with a column of LinkedIn profile links. It must be under 2 MB. Adapt reads every LinkedIn profile link in it, once each, in your browser, and uses the first 2,000.
Steps
- Open Campaigns and press New campaign.
- Step 1, Name and kind: type a name, such as "Accountants in Leeds". Choose a kind: Outreach (warm them up, connect, then a message), Warm-up (profile visits and likes only) or Network building (invites with no sales message).
- Step 2, Who it reaches: choose A spreadsheet and pick the file, or Nobody yet, which makes the campaign now so you can add people later from the People tab.
- Step 3, The sequence: choose a ready-made sequence to start from. You can change every step next. See Sequences and steps.
- Step 4, Check it: read the summary, then press Save as a draft or Design the sequence.
The campaign is saved as a draft. The page says Nothing goes out until you design its steps and run it.
What happens next
- Design or change the steps on the Sequence tab, then save them to the campaign.
- Approve any invite notes. See Connection requests and messages.
- Run it from the extension. See Run a LinkedIn campaign.
If it does not work
- No LinkedIn profile links were found in that file: the file has no column with linkedin.com/in/ links.
- That file is over 2 MB: split it.
- Only the first 2,000 links are used: the file had more.
- A link to a Sales Navigator search, a LinkedIn search or a post cannot be given to a campaign made in the app. Use the extension on those pages, which files the people it captures in a campaign named after the search and the day.
There is no per-campaign pace setting yet: all campaigns share the limits on LinkedIn settings, limits and working hours.
