What the Chrome extension is
A side panel in your own Chrome that checks the people you look at on LinkedIn against the UK book and runs your LinkedIn campaigns.
The extension is a panel beside LinkedIn, in your own Chrome. It checks who you are looking at against the UK book, finds an email where it can, and does the LinkedIn steps of your campaigns at a human pace.
It is called Adapt Leads in Chrome. In the app's settings the card calls it AdaptLeads LinkedIn Enricher.
What it does
- Reads the page you are on. A LinkedIn or Sales Navigator people search, a person's profile or a post. See This page, reading a profile.
- Checks people against the UK book as they arrive and shows what we hold. See Capture as you browse.
- Finds an email, looking costs nothing. See Find an email.
- Keeps your list of everyone you pass. See The List tab.
- Runs campaign steps (warm up, connect) inside your limits. See The Today tab and Run a LinkedIn campaign.
- Saves posts you read to your library, and imports the people who commented. See A post's commenters.
What it does not do
- It does not run from our servers. Everything happens in your Chrome, on your connection.
- It does not click or scroll for you on a search page. It only reads what you scroll into view.
- It does not send anything you did not start. See What Adapt never does on LinkedIn.
- It does not install from the Chrome Web Store. See Install the extension.
- It does not update itself. See Update the extension.
The pieces
| Piece | What it is |
|---|---|
| The panel | Opens when you click the Adapt Leads icon in the toolbar. Three tabs: This page, List and Today. Ask and your account menu are in the header. |
| The pull-out tab | A small tab on the right edge of LinkedIn. It shows how many people are captured, opens the panel, and on a profile shows whether we hold the person. You can drag it up and down. |
| The footer | Exports left, invites this week, and Safe to run. See The pace and safety footer. |
LinkedIn does not allow automated activity
It is your account that carries the risk. See Limits and safety on LinkedIn.
