Troubleshooting the extension

Find your problem by what you see.

The app says Not installed yet

The app has never heard from an extension on this account. Open the extension panel once while signed in, and reload the app. If you installed it, check it is on in chrome://extensions. See also The extension is not detected.

The panel asks you to sign in again

Press Sign in. Adapt Leads opens in a tab and brings you back. If that does not work, sign in to Adapt Leads in the same Chrome first.

Adapt Leads cannot start right now

Chrome is not letting the extension run. Restart Chrome. If it shows Relaunch to update, press that first. Then open chrome://extensions, find Adapt Leads and press the reload arrow. Developer mode must be on.

Adapt Leads has stopped answering

A banner. Restart Chrome. If that does not help, reload the extension at chrome://extensions.

It shows the wrong person, or the wrong page

• This page follows the page you are on. A campaign run uses a LinkedIn tab of its own and does not change it.
• LinkedIn loads pages without reloading them. If a profile's status is missing, refresh the profile once.
• A profile's sub-pages are not read as people.

Nothing to read on this page

The panel works on LinkedIn and Sales Navigator pages. See A business website. Open a people search or a profile.

We cannot read this page, or Some are missing

LinkedIn may have changed the page. Press Reload the page. If it keeps happening, tell us.

Outside your working hours

The extension only checks people between your working hours, on the clock of your computer. A profile opened at night says so. Change the hours in LinkedIn settings, limits and working hours.

We cannot look them up

Their profile does not say where they work, or a search result did not. Open their profile.

Paused. LinkedIn asked us to slow down

A run keeps opening LinkedIn tabs

It visits people in a LinkedIn tab of its own. In Settings, While it works, choose Background or In front. See The Today tab.
