Install the extension

You will have the Adapt Leads panel in Chrome, signed in to your account.

Chrome will not install this extension from a website. It is not in the Chrome Web Store, so you load it from a folder. Read all the steps once first.

Before you start

• Google Chrome on a computer.
• You are signed in to Adapt Leads.
• You are signed in to LinkedIn in the same Chrome. Everything runs there, from your own connection.

Steps

1. In Adapt Leads open LinkedIn outreach, then LinkedIn settings, then Chrome extension. Press Download for Chrome. The dashboard's Add the extension button also opens the same help. A zip file downloads.
2. Unzip it into a folder you will not delete by accident, for example in your Documents. Do not run it from the zip.
3. In Chrome, type chrome://extensions in the address bar.
4. Turn on Developer mode, top right.
5. Press Load unpacked and choose the unzipped folder.
6. Click the puzzle-piece icon in the toolbar and pin Adapt Leads.
7. Open LinkedIn. Click the Adapt Leads icon. The panel opens.
8. Press Sign in. Adapt Leads opens in a tab and brings you back to the panel by itself. There are no keys to copy.

What you will see

After step 8 the panel shows three tabs, This page, List and Today. On a LinkedIn page you will also see a small tab on the right edge of the page. In the app, LinkedIn settings shows Installed or Working now after the extension has spoken to your account.

If it does not work

• The panel says Sign in again, or Adapt Leads cannot start: see Troubleshooting the extension.
• The app says Not installed yet after you installed: open the panel once while signed in.
• Update later: Update the extension.
