A business website

What the extension does on a company's own website, and what it does not do yet.

GuideChecked 2026-10-10

The extension does not yet show the panel for a business's own website.

What happens today

If you open a page that is not LinkedIn or Sales Navigator, This page says Nothing to read on this page. It explains that it works on people, and offers three steps: search for people, open someone's profile, open your list. The Open a LinkedIn search button opens a search.

What it still does with websites

The extension can read pages that the server names, in the background and in your own Chrome, when the book asks it to check a business. These are a business's own site, or a Google or Bing results page. At most 30 such checks a day are made, and they open in a visible tab. The panel's What this reads says: a few Google or Bing pages a day, when the book asks it to check a business.

It never sends your browsing history, and it reads other websites only for those checks.

What is not built

Showing "we hold this business" when you open its website, with its people and an email, was designed but is not in the panel. Use the Find page in the app to look a business up. See The UK book in plain words.
