Update the extension

You will be on the latest version, with the same sign-in and your list kept.

The extension does not update itself. Chrome only updates extensions from the Chrome Web Store, and this one is loaded from a folder.

How you know there is a new version

• The panel shows a banner: Version N is ready (you have M).
• In the app, LinkedIn settings, Chrome extension says Update ready and shows the latest version number.

Steps

1. In the app open LinkedIn settings, then Chrome extension, and press Download for Chrome (the button says Get the update on some pages).
2. Unzip the new version over the folder you loaded last time. Replace the files.
3. Open chrome://extensions.
4. Find Adapt Leads and press Reload.

What you will see

The version in the panel and in the app changes. The little tab on LinkedIn pages is replaced on the pages you already have open. A profile page may need one refresh before it shows its status. If a build changes how the panel looks, the notes in the banner say what to look for.

If it does not work

• Developer mode must stay on in chrome://extensions, or Chrome will not reload it.
• If you unzipped into a new folder, remove the old Adapt Leads card and load the new folder instead. See Install the extension.
