Capture as you browse

How the extension adds the people you scroll past to your list, and checks them, without clicking for you.

ConceptChecked 2026-10-10

While you browse LinkedIn with the extension on, the people you scroll into view are added to your list. You do nothing extra.

What happens

  1. You search for people, or open a profile, as you normally would.
  2. The extension reads the people on the page, in the order shown. It sweeps every few seconds even if you are not scrolling, so the page's lower results are picked up as they load.
  3. They are added to your List and checked against the UK book as they arrive. Checking costs nothing.
  4. The pull-out tab on the page edge shows the count, and now and then peeks out to show a capture.

What it never does

It never clicks, never scrolls for you and never opens a result. It reads only what is on your screen. Go to the next page of results yourself and its people appear too.

Where it goes

Captured people are filed in a list named after the search and the day. In the app that is a campaign of the same name, a draft that sends nothing. See LinkedIn lead lists.

If someone is missing

If the page appears to show more people than were read, the panel says Some are missing and tells you to report it if it keeps happening, because LinkedIn may have changed its page. If none can be read it says We cannot read this page with a Reload the page button.
