This page, reading a profile

What the This page tab shows when you open a LinkedIn profile: whether we hold the person, their business, an email and the next step.

GuideChecked 2026-10-10

Open someone's LinkedIn profile and the This page tab shows what we hold on them, in plain words, and the next best step.

The top of the card

Their name, headline and where they are, and a pill saying where they stand. The headline of the card says one of these.

Says Meaning
We know (name) The person is in the book.
We have the business, not (name) We hold their business but not them.
We could not match their business We do not hold the business, or could not tell which it is.
We have an email for (name) An email is held. It is verified or on file.
We found an email for (name) We looked and found one that works.
We cannot look them up The profile does not say where they work. You can still add them to a campaign.
Not checked yet Not looked up yet. Press Check now.
Could not check Try again.

A Next step line under it tells you what to do.

The sections

  • Contact: the work email, with its state (Verified, On file, Found, Looking, None found) and, when held but not revealed, the cost to reveal. See Find an email.
  • The business: name, website, where, whether it is a registered company, and their role.
  • From LinkedIn: company, where, website and the search it came from.
  • Their company: website, phone, size, industry and where, read from their company's LinkedIn page.
  • Your notes: a stage (Lead, Prospect, Customer, Partner), tags and a note. They are kept only in this browser.
  • Connection note: Draft three notes from their profile drafts three notes from their headline and recent posts. You pick one and Copy. Nothing is sent from here.

The buttons at the bottom

The main button changes with the next best step: Check now, Reveal email, Find an email, Copy email, Open their profile or Add to a campaign. Beside it are Add to a campaign and More.

More has Draft three notes, Open on LinkedIn and Set aside, which takes them off your list.

Limits

  • Their current employer is read from the top card or from the Experience entry marked Present. If neither says, the card says No company shown.
  • The company's page is read once, in the background, from your own LinkedIn: up to 60 a day, and it is kept 30 days.
  • A person opened from Sales Navigator cannot be added to a campaign yet. Everything else works.
