What is shown before and after you reveal
A table of what the results table and the record page show for a business you have not revealed, and for one you have.
Adapt shows what exists before you reveal, and the details after. Nothing is invented to fill a gap. This table lists each item.

Before you reveal, the record's Contact card says "Emails, phone numbers and the full address show once you reveal this record" and has a Reveal contact button.
What the small labels mean
The labels on an email say what kind of address it is (see Email labels explained: Verified, Catch-all server and the rest). The labels on a phone number say what kind of line it is: Mobile, Landline, Landline or mobile, Internet line, Freephone, Non-geographic. On a revealed record the phone also shows whether it is "This site's own line" for a business in a group. See Groups, head offices and branches.
What a reveal costs
See Credits and exports: what costs what and Reveal a contact from the results table.
Things that can hold something back
- A name or contact detail can be held back for a moment while a removal check completes. The page says so and shows it when the check is done.
- A business on your own suppression list stays in the table, labelled, or is hidden if your list hides it. See Suppression and do-not-contact on lists and searches.
