Find directors
Search named people at businesses on the Directors page, and open a person or their company.
Directors lists the named people at businesses in the UK book. It is the same search as Businesses with one rule added: only businesses where we can name a director or owner appear. Each row is a person, shown with their company.

- The table. One row per named person.
What each column shows
| Column | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Name | The person, with their town and postcode area under the name. "Not named yet" if the name is not yet available. |
| Role | "Decision-maker" for every row on this page. |
| Company | The business, as a chip. Click it to open the business. |
| "Email on file" with small labels, or "No email on file". The address shows after you reveal. | |
| Phone | "Phone on file" with the kind of line, or "No phone on file". The number is the business's line, and shows after you reveal. |
| On the register | "Matched to the register" when the business is matched to an official company registration. |
| Record | Small pills such as Trading address confirmed. |
| Contact | Reveal or Revealed. |

How it differs from Businesses
- The filters are the same, but "Decision-maker name" is not in the list, because it is always on.
- There is no Save search button on this page. Saved searches are made from Businesses.
- The row tick boxes offer Add to list, Export and Send to…. The Check these now action is on Businesses only.
- Clicking a row opens the person's page, not the company's. See Read a person record.
One person, one row
The page shows one named person per business: the director or owner on file for that record. A business with several directors appears once here. Open the business to see everyone we hold. See People, Decision-makers and Generic on a record.
Reveal and export
Directors are revealed the same way as businesses: a reveal opens the business's contact details. See Reveal a contact from the results table.
Guidance, not legal advice
Writing to a named person at a company is covered by PECR and UK GDPR. See PECR and UK GDPR in plain words for a B2B seller. A sole trader is treated as an individual for email marketing.
When the page is empty
On a new account the page shows a grey outline of the table until you search. If a search finds nothing, the page says so and offers Clear all filters.
