Credits and exports: what costs what
Searching is free. Exporting uses your monthly allowance. A first-time reveal uses a balance the app does not show you.
Search and filtering are unlimited on every plan. You use your allowance when you export contacts.

The allowance resets at the start of each calendar month. A single export is capped at 25,000 rows.
Reveals and the balance
The app says a reveal does not use your export allowance. The server also keeps an older balance of credits: a new reveal takes one, a record you already revealed is free, and new accounts start with 25. If the balance is too low the reveal is refused with "This reveal was refused because of your plan's balance". The app does not show that balance.
When an export is refused
If an export would go over your allowance, nothing is exported and the message says the monthly allowance is reached. Choose a bigger plan on Plan & billing.
