Set up: connect a mailbox

Connect the inbox you send email from, then warm it up. Needs Adapt Outreach to be open for your sign-in.

The Connect a mailbox card sends you to Email accounts, where you add the inbox you send from. Adapt Outreach supports Google, Microsoft or any IMAP and SMTP mailbox, and warms the mailbox up before campaign mail goes out.

Steps

  1. On the card, press Connect a mailbox (or Email accounts once one is connected).
  2. Add your mailbox and follow the connection steps there.
  3. Leave it warming up. A new mailbox is not ready for campaign mail at once.

The card turns Done and says how many mailboxes are connected.

If the card says Not on this account

It reads "Adapt Outreach is not open for this sign-in yet." Email outreach is closed to some sign-ins. The card is not counted in your total. You can ask to have it opened by emailing hello@adaptleads.co.uk.

Cautions

Use a mailbox you can afford to warm

Sending cold email from a brand new or main business mailbox can hurt its reputation. Warm-up exists for that reason.
