Set up: add the Chrome extension

Download the extension, load it in Chrome and sign in. It does your LinkedIn work in your own browser.

The Chrome extension reads LinkedIn pages in your own session and does your LinkedIn steps at a human pace. Nothing logs in to LinkedIn from Adapt's servers.

Steps

  1. On Set up, find Add the Chrome extension and press Add the extension. The same Download button is on Your stack.
  2. Download the file and unzip it into a folder you will keep.
  3. In Chrome open chrome://extensions and switch on Developer mode, top right.
  4. Press Load unpacked and pick the unzipped folder.
  5. Open the extension and sign in with your Adapt Leads account. There are no keys to copy.

The card turns Done once the extension has worked on your account. It then says when it was last seen, and its button becomes How to update it.

Updating

Chrome does not update a side-loaded extension by itself. For a new version, download it, unzip it over the old folder and press Reload on the extension card.

Honest limits

  • The extension is installed by hand as above. It is not in the Chrome Web Store.
  • Your stack shows Connected only if the extension was seen recently.
