Are my chats with Ask Adapt saved?
Yes. Every chat is kept on your account and listed under Chats, so you can reopen it later.
Yes. Once the release is on, every chat is saved to your account after each answer. You can reopen it tomorrow, on another computer, or after a reload.
Find an old chat
- Open any Ask Adapt page.
- Click Chats, at the top right.
- Click the chat you want. It opens exactly as you left it, and you can carry on asking.
The list shows this visit's chats first, then everything kept. Each row shows the title, when you last used it and how many questions it holds.
What comes back, and what does not
- The conversation comes back in full: your questions, the answers and the cards.
- A proposal you had not approved comes back as expired. A proposal card is only honoured for 30 minutes, so an old Approve button would do nothing. It says "This proposal has expired. Ask again for a fresh one."
- Approved changes are never lost. The change itself is saved where it happened, such as your lists or your CRM.
- A star on a chat is kept.
Remove a chat
Hover a row in Chats and click Remove. The chat leaves your list. Adapt Leads keeps the record and never deletes it. If you need a chat erased, see Data requests: access, erasure and objection.
Who can see your chats
Only you. A chat belongs to one account and is not shown to teammates.
What the server also keeps
For each question the server keeps a short audit entry (the first part of your question, which tools ran, how long it took and a cost figure). It is for running and limiting the service.
Until saved chats are switched on, **Chats** lists only this visit's chats, and a reload or sign-out clears them.
