What the Adapt agents are

Four agents (Search, Engage, Operator, Optimization) read your account and prepare cards for you to approve. They run when you press Run.

Adapt has four agents. Each reads your account with the same tools as Ask Adapt, and prepares cards for you to approve.

Agent What it is for
Search Finds businesses worth a call from your saved feed and prepares a reason to call.
Engage Reads your campaigns and prepares email drafts and a queue.
Operator Shows what is waiting for approval and drafts a reply you can copy.
Optimization Reads reply and campaign numbers and proposes what to pause or try next.

They are meant to work in order: Search finds who to talk to, Engage writes the drafts, you approve, Operator carries out what you approved, Optimization reads the results and proposes the next change, and that goes back to Search. Each step is its own run that you start. Nothing hands over by itself.

Three things to know

  1. They run when you press Run. There is no schedule. If you do not press it, nothing runs. Adapt does not work "around the clock".
  2. Nothing is sent, started or spent until you approve. A run reads and prepares. It never approves a card, sends an email or starts a campaign.
  3. Only two things happen without a card, and both only stop contact: Operator can pause a sending campaign you name, and can add an email address you give it to your do-not-contact list.

Where they work

Agents live on the Agents page in the left rail. You approve their cards in Ask Adapt. They read your campaigns from Adapt Outreach.

Adapt Outreach

Sending runs through Adapt Outreach. Agents never send. If Adapt Outreach is not open for your sign-in, the campaign agents have little to read: see Adapt Outreach is not open for this sign-in.

The Agents page shows the page. Run an agent shows how to run one. What the agents do not do yet lists the gaps.
