Locations: where the news is, on a map
A map of the UK with a circle for each postcode area, sized by the number of businesses with news.
Locations shows where the news is, by postcode area, so you can see where to focus.
Open Adapt Insights then Locations. The title is Where it is happening. Circle size is the number of businesses with news in the last 120 days, in the busiest postcode areas.
The picture is the sample world.
What you can do
- Hover a circle to see the area and its count.
- Click a circle, or a row in Busiest postcode areas, to open that area. A panel on the right lists up to 12 businesses with news there. See them all in the feed opens the Feed narrowed to the area.
- Click Show the whole country to clear it.
Things to know
- The map is drawn from the most recent businesses with news, so the areas are counted over that group, not over every business in the window.
- The map is not narrowed by an area you chose in your feed setup, so you can compare areas. The list on the right is.
- An area with no known position on the map is listed but has no circle.
- With nothing to show it says No postcode area has news in this view yet.
