Filter and search the Feed

Narrow the Feed by group, sector, size, area or a word, and clear each filter again.

How-toChecked 2026-10-10

You will end with a Feed that shows only the businesses you care about right now.

Steps

  1. Open Adapt Insights then Feed.
  2. To pick a kind of news, click one of the rings: Growth, People, Risk, Profile or Changes. Click All (the total ring) to go back.
  3. To look for one business or topic, type in Search a business or a headline. Adapt waits a moment after you stop typing. It searches the business name and the headline, by whole words. Two words are searched as a phrase. It uses the first 60 characters.
  4. To use your saved setup, look at the chip that shows your sectors and places. Click it to change them. See Set up your feed: who you sell to, and where.
  5. To see everyone, not only your feed, use the Your feed switch and choose The whole UK market.

Each filter you add shows as a small tag with an x. Click the tag to remove that filter. Press Escape in the search box to clear the search.

What the window is

The window is fixed at Last 120 days. You cannot change it on the live Feed.

If nothing shows

The page tells you which filter emptied it. For example, "Nothing in your feed in the last 120 days" means your setup is narrow: widen it, or look at the whole UK market. A search that finds nothing says so and reminds you that it searches whole words.

Filters from other pages

A bar on Analytics, an area on the map and Show the news on Sectors all open the Feed already filtered. When you arrive that way, a size, area or search left over from earlier is cleared, so the Feed never narrows silently.
