How fresh is Adapt Insights?
Insights is not a live feed. Some kinds update nightly, others are paused, and the page shows when it was last built.
Insights is as fresh as the collection behind each kind of signal. It is not a live news wire and it is not rebuilt every day for every kind.
What was true on 10 October 2026

Do not read "paused" as broken. It means the collection is switched off until it has been reviewed, so the Feed is not growing with new stories of those kinds. Signals already held are still shown, with their own dates.
How to tell
- The Updated pill. Next to the Feed's filters, a green pill says "Updated" with a time if the page was built in the last 26 hours. An amber pill says the date and "Older than a day, so it is not shown as live". When the server does not give a build time, for example with a saved feed or filters, the pill shows nothing, and the newest card's date is the thing to look at.
- Each card's date. The date on a card is the date of the event or story.
- Analytics. The tile's How we counted this says when it was counted. Monthly tiles are kept for an hour.
- The 120-day window. Anything older than 120 days is not in the Feed.
What to say to a customer
Say "in the last 120 days, here is what we have recorded". Do not say "every morning" or "as it happens". Adapt does not promise a refresh time for each kind.
