Your ideal customer is the kind of business you want to sell to. You describe it in five steps and Adapt Insights shows only news about businesses like it.
The five steps
| Step | What you choose |

| Who you sell to | One or more sectors, or every sector. |
| Their size | Size bands, and whether to include businesses whose size is not known. |
| Where they are | Postcode areas, or all of the UK. |
| What to watch | Which signals to follow. At least one is needed. |
| How often | In the app only, or an email daily or weekly. |

Describe it in Find
In Find, Describe your ideal customer turns a sentence such as "dental practices in Leeds with a verified owner email" into filters. It shows every filter it set, so you can check what it understood.
