Enrich now: what it does, costs and how long it takes
What the Enrich now button does to a record, what it does not do, its limits, and what a result means.
Enrich now checks one business again, today, for anything missing and for anything that has changed. You press it on a company record, or on up to 25 ticked rows in Businesses with Check these now.
What it does
It looks again at the business's own website, the company register and each email address, and compares what it finds with what the record holds.
- A missing field can be found, for example a phone number or a director.
- A field that is already held can be confirmed.
- A held value changes only when independent places agree. The old value stays in the record's history.
At most eight values change on one press.
What you see
On a record, the Overview tab shows a progress panel with five steps and a timer, then the result: "Enriched just now · 2 found · 1 confirmed · 1 changed", and a sentence naming the fields: "Found: phone. Confirmed: website." If nothing new turns up it says "Nothing new this time. Nothing on this record changed."
The Activity tab keeps an "Enriched" line, and the How we know card updates its "last check" time.

How long it takes
Usually about a minute. You can leave the page: the check carries on and the record shows the result when you come back. A check that has not finished after a long time (about fifteen minutes) is marked as stopped, and you can ask again.
What it costs
Nothing. Enrich now does not use your export allowance and does not use a reveal.

What it does not do
- It does not contact the business.
- It does not create a fact that is not there. A field can stay "Nothing held".
- It does not run for a business that is no longer in the book: "This record is no longer active, so it cannot be enriched."
Check these now
On Businesses, tick up to 25 rows and click Check these now. A box says each record is checked again: its website, the register and each email address. Enrich now starts one check per record. A message tells you how many started, and why any did not, for example "26 started, 4 not started" followed by the reasons. Records that did not start can be tried later.
