PECR

The Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations, covering email and calls. See PECR and UK GDPR in plain words for a B2B seller.

Permission

An extra power only the owner grants: crm.reveal_sealed or crm.privacy_archive.

Person record

A page about one person and the businesses they are tied to.

Personal address

An email tag for a free mailbox such as Gmail.

Plan

What you pay for each month, with an export allowance.

Plan & billing

The page for your plan, exports left and account activity.

Premium rate

A phone label for a number that costs the caller extra.

Proven

A label meaning two independent places agree, or a register says so. See Proven, Claimed, Contested, Unknown and All there is.

Record

A page for one business, with its fields, people and history.

Register

The public list of registered companies and their officers.

Registered office

The address a company gives to the register.

Reply alerts

An email when someone replies to a campaign.

Reveal

Showing a record's contact details and adding it to your revealed records. See What a reveal is.

Revoke

Cancelling a pending invite. The invite stays on record.

Role

Your level in an organisation: owner, admin or member.

Role mailbox

An email tag for an address like info@ or sales@.

Scale

The largest plan, 50,000 exports a month.

Sector

A kind of business, such as accountants or dental practices.

Setup

The first-run steps that get your account ready.

SIC code

A standard number that says what a company does.

Signal

A dated event at a business. See Signals and what makes one worth acting on.

Sole trader

A person trading in their own name. Treated as an individual subscriber under PECR.

Solo

The 39 pound plan with 1,000 exports a month.

Sources disagree

A chip meaning places disagree. Same as Contested.

Starter

The 129 pound plan with 4,000 exports a month.

Strike-off risk

A signal that a company is at risk of being removed from the register.

Stripe

The payment provider. Your card details stay with it.

Suppression list

Addresses and domains you never want to contact. See Opt-outs and the suppression list.

Switchboard

A phone type for a business's main number.

Task

A reminder to do something in the CRM.

Template

A ready-made setup for a kind of business.

TPS and CTPS

Registers of numbers that do not want sales calls. Adapt does not check them for you.

UK book

Unibox

The shared inbox of replies.

Unknown

A label meaning Adapt holds no evidence and does not guess.

Verification

Checking an email with its mail server.

Verified

An email label: the mail server accepted the address. See Email labels explained: Verified, Catch-all server and the rest.

Will not deliver

An email label: the server refused the address.

Workflow

An automation built in the Workflows designer. The engine that runs them is not connected yet.

Your stack

The page that lists your CRM, extension, desktop app and connector.
