The Reeve Consult example customer
Reeve Consult is the generic example customer used for testing and the demo. This page shows what its CRM setup looks like.
Reeve Consult is an example customer: a small consultancy that helps businesses choose card payments. Adapt Leads uses its setup to test the product and to fill the demo. It shows what a complete CRM template looks like for one trade. Your own CRM does not need to look like it.
Its template is called Card payments consultancy. Find it under Built for your sector, then Card payments.
What it sets up
| Part | What it holds |
|---|---|
| Objects | Leads, Organisations, Contacts, Deals |
| Leads | The inbox you work to empty: New, Contacted, Handled, Converted, Disqualified |
| Pipeline | Seven stages: New Lead, Nurture, Qualified, Meeting Booked, Quote Sent, Closed Won, Closed Lost |
| Deal value | A lifetime value, added up from the products ticked on the deal unless someone types one |
| Products | Five, each with a typical lifetime value where it has one |
| Fields | Over a hundred, including a sales profile in the order the onboarding form asks, the business's registered details, and research notes |
| Views | Dashboard, Leads inbox, Pipeline, Deals, Organisations, Contacts, Clients (won deals) |
| Ways in | Nineteen forms and tools that feed it: website forms, quotes, referrals, funding, a book-a-call form, resource downloads, an onboarding form, hand-overs from the Caller console and qualified replies from Adapt Outreach |
| Automations | Seven (see below) |
| Dashboard | Total prospects, new this week, quoted value, deals won, deals lost |
Its automations
- Quotes and referrals become deals straight away. Other enquiries wait in the inbox.
- The team is told about every new enquiry.
- Resource downloads get three follow-ups: straight away, then days 2, 4 and 7.
- Ownership reminders before a 90-day window ends.
- Caller hand-overs take turns between owners.
- Deal value adds itself up.
- Losing a deal asks why.
What it does with sensitive details
Bank details, date of birth and home address are held fields. They never show in a list, a page, a change history, an export or an import preview. In the setup you choose to bring them or not, and bank details can be left out, kept as the last three digits or kept in full.
Step five is different for this template
For this template, step five of the setup is titled Your Reeve Consult records. It shows how many leads, deals, organisations and contacts the CRM holds and where each old field now lives. It applies only in Reeve Consult's own workspace. In any other workspace you start empty.
Sample data
Anything shown in the demo for this setup is made up. The demo's businesses and people are samples.
